gpio: eic-sprd: Clear interrupt after set the interrupt type
[ Upstream commit 84aef4ed59705585d629e81d633a83b7d416f5fb ]
The raw interrupt status of eic maybe set before the interrupt is enabled,
since the eic interrupt has a latch function, which would trigger the
interrupt event once enabled it from user side. To solve this problem,
interrupts generated before setting the interrupt trigger type are ignored.

gpio: dwapb: mask/unmask IRQ when disable/enale it

In the hardware implementation of the I2C HID driver based on DesignWare
GPIO IRQ chip, when the user continues to use the I2C HID device in the
suspend process, the I2C HID interrupt will be masked after the resume
process is finished.
This is because the disable_irq()/enable_irq() of the DesignWare GPIO
driver does not synchronize the IRQ mask register state. In normal use
of the I2C HID procedure, the GPIO IRQ irq_mask()/irq_unmask() functions
are called in pairs. In case of an exception, i2c_hid_core_suspend()
calls disable_irq() to disable the GPIO IRQ. With low probability, this
causes irq_unmask() to not be called, which causes the GPIO IRQ to be
masked and not unmasked in enable_irq(), raising an exception.
Add synchronization to the masked register state in the
dwapb_irq_enable()/dwapb_irq_disable() function. mask the GPIO IRQ
before disabling it. After enabling the GPIO IRQ, unmask the IRQ.

While the GPIO cdev gpio_ioctl() call is in progress, the kernel can
call gpiochip_remove() which will set gdev->chip to NULL, after which
any subsequent access will cause a crash.
gpio_ioctl() was overlooked by the previous fix to protect syscalls
(bdbbae241a04), so add protection for that.

If gpio_set_transitory() fails, we should free the GPIO again. Most
notably, the flag FLAG_REQUESTED has previously been set in
gpiod_request_commit(), and should be reset on failure.
To my knowledge, this does not affect any current users, since the
gpio_set_transitory() mainly returns 0 and -ENOTSUPP, which is converted
to 0. However the gpio_set_transitory() function calles the .set_config()
function of the corresponding GPIO chip and there are some GPIO drivers in
which some (unlikely) branches return other values like -EPROBE_DEFER,
and -EINVAL. In these cases, the above mentioned FLAG_REQUESTED would not
be reset, which results in the pin being blocked until the next reboot.

gpio: vf610: mask the gpio irq in system suspend and support wakeup

Add flag IRQCHIP_MASK_ON_SUSPEND to make sure gpio irq is masked on
suspend, if lack this flag, current irq arctitecture will not mask
the irq, and these unmasked gpio irq will wrongly wakeup the system
even they are not config as wakeup source.
Also add flag IRQCHIP_ENABLE_WAKEUP_ON_SUSPEND to make sure the gpio
irq which is configed as wakeup source can work as expect.

gpio: vf610: make irq_chip immutable

Since recently, the kernel is nagging about mutable irq_chips:
"not an immutable chip, please consider fixing it!"
Drop the unneeded copy, flag it as IRQCHIP_IMMUTABLE, add the new
helper functions and call the appropriate gpiolib functions.

[ Upstream commit 9e8bc2dda5a7a8e2babc9975f4b11c9a6196e490 ] As timbgpio_irq_enable()/timbgpio_irq_disable() callback could be executed under irq context, it could introduce double locks on &tgpio->lock if it preempts other execution units requiring the same locks. timbgpio_gpio_set() --> timbgpio_update_bit() --> spin_lock(&tgpio->lock) <interrupt> --> timbgpio_irq_disable() --> spin_lock_irqsave(&tgpio->lock) This flaw was found by an experimental static analysis tool I am developing for irq-related deadlock. To prevent the potential deadlock, the patch uses spin_lock_irqsave() on &tgpio->lock inside timbgpio_gpio_set() to prevent the possible deadlock scenario. gpio: pmic-eic-sprd: Add can_sleep flag for PMIC EIC chip

The drivers uses a mutex and I2C bus access in its PMIC EIC chip
get implementation. This means these functions can sleep and the PMIC EIC
chip should set the can_sleep property to true.
This will ensure that a warning is printed when trying to get the
value from a context that potentially can't sleep.

gpio: sim: mark the GPIO chip as a one that can sleep

Simulated chips use a mutex for synchronization in driver callbacks so
they must not be called from interrupt context. Set the can_sleep field
of the GPIO chip to true to force users to only use threaded irqs.

gpio: ws16c48: Fix off-by-one error in WS16C48 resource region extent
commit 33f83d13ded164cd49ce2a3bd2770115abc64e6f upstream.
The WinSystems WS16C48 I/O address region spans offsets 0x0 through 0xA,
which is a total of 11 bytes. Fix the WS16C48_EXTENT define to the
correct value of 11 so that access to necessary device registers is
properly requested in the ws16c48_probe() callback by the
devm_request_region() function call.

In case of gpio-regmap, IRQ chip is added by regmap-irq and associated with
GPIO chip by gpiochip_irqchip_add_domain(). The initialization flag was not
added in gpiochip_irqchip_add_domain(), causing gpiochip_to_irq() to return
-EPROBE_DEFER.

gpio: sim: fix memory corruption when adding named lines and unnamed hogs

When constructing the sim, gpio-sim constructs an array of named lines,
sized based on the largest offset of any named line, and then initializes
that array with the names of all lines, including unnamed hogs with higher
offsets. In doing so it writes NULLs beyond the extent of the array.
Add a check that only named lines are used to initialize the array.

ANDROID: GKI: add kabi padding for structures for the android14 release
There are a lot of different structures that need to have a "frozen" abi for the next 5+ years. Add padding to a lot of them in order to be able to handle any future changes that might be needed due to LTS and security fixes that might come up. It's a best guess, based on what has happened in the past from the 5.10.0..5.10.110 release (1 1/2 years). Yes, past changes do not mean that future changes will also be needed in the same area, but that is a hint that those areas are both well maintained and looked after, and there have been previous problems found in them. Also the list of structures that are being required based on OEM usage in the android/ symbol lists were consulted as that's a larger list than what has been changed in the past. Hopefully we caught everything we need to worry about, only time will tell... gpio-f7188x: fix chip name and pin count on Nuvoton chip

In fact the device with chip id 0xD283 is called NCT6126D, and that is
the chip id the Nuvoton code was written for. Correct that name to avoid
confusion, because a NCT6116D in fact exists as well but has another
chip id, and is currently not supported.
The look at the spec also revealed that GPIO group7 in fact has 8 pins,
so correct the pin count in that group as well.

gpiolib: acpi: Add a ignore wakeup quirk for Clevo NL5xNU

commit 1796f808e4bb ("HID: i2c-hid: acpi: Stop setting wakeup_capable")
changed the policy such that I2C touchpads may be able to wake up the
system by default if the system is configured as such.
However on Clevo NL5xNU there is a mistake in the ACPI tables that the
TP_ATTN# signal connected to GPIO 9 is configured as ActiveLow and level
triggered but connected to a pull up. As soon as the system suspends the
touchpad loses power and then the system wakes up.
To avoid this problem, introduce a quirk for this model that will prevent
the wakeup capability for being set for GPIO 9.
This patch is analoge to a very similar patch for NL5xRU, just the DMI
string changed.

gpio: davinci: Do not clear the bank intr enable bit in save_context

The interrupt enable bits might be set if we want to use the GPIO as
wakeup source. Clearing this will mean disabling of interrupts in the GPIO
banks that we may want to wakeup from.
Thus remove the line that was clearing this bit from the driver's save
context function.

.get_state() might fail in some cases. To make it possible that a driver
signals such a failure change the prototype of .get_state() to return an
error code.
This patch was created using coccinelle and the following semantic patch:

gpio: GPIO_REGMAP: select REGMAP instead of depending on it

REGMAP is a hidden (not user visible) symbol. Users cannot set it
directly thru "make *config", so drivers should select it instead of
depending on it if they need it.
Consistently using "select" or "depends on" can also help reduce
Kconfig circular dependency issues.
Therefore, change the use of "depends on REGMAP" to "select REGMAP".
