aa7a923818 FROMGIT: cpuidle: psci: Enable suspend-to-idle for PSCI OSI mode
To select domain idlestates for cpuidle-psci when OSI mode has been
enabled, the PM domains via genpd are being managed through runtime PM.
This works fine for the regular idlepath, but it doesn't during system wide
suspend. More precisely, the domain idlestates becomes temporarily
disabled, which is because the PM core disables runtime PM for devices
during system wide suspend.

Later in the system suspend phase, genpd intends to deal with this from its
->suspend_noirq() callback, but this doesn't work as expected for a device
corresponding to a CPU, because the domain idlestates needs to be selected
on a per CPU basis (the PM core doesn't invoke the callbacks like that).

To address this problem, let's enable the syscore flag for the
corresponding CPU device that becomes successfully attached to its PM
domain (applicable only in OSI mode). This informs the PM core to skip
invoke the system wide suspend/resume callbacks for the device, thus also
prevents genpd from screwing up its internal state of it.

Moreover, to properly select a domain idlestate for the CPUs during
suspend-to-idle, let's assign a specific ->enter_s2idle() callback for the
corresponding domain idlestate (applicable only in OSI mode). From that
callback, let's invoke dev_pm_genpd_suspend|resume(), as this allows a
domain idlestate to be selected for the current CPU by genpd.

977fe0380a FROMGIT: PM: domains: Enable dev_pm_genpd_suspend|resume() for suspend-to-idle
The dev_pm_genpd_suspend|resume() have so far only been used during the
syscore suspend/resume phases. However, during suspend-to-idle, where the
syscore phases doesn't exist, similar operations are sometimes needed.

An existing example are the timekeeping_suspend|resume() functions, which
are being called both through a registered syscore ops during the syscore
phases, but also as regular functions calls from cpuidle (via
tick_freeze()) during suspend-to-idle.

For similar reasons, let's enable the dev_pm_genpd_suspend|resume() APIs to
be re-used for corresponding CPU devices that are attached to a genpd,
during suspend-to-idle.

8522dd981c FROMGIT: PM: domains: Rename pm_genpd_syscore_poweroff|poweron()
To better describe what the pm_genpd_syscore_poweroff|poweron() functions
actually do, let's rename them to dev_pm_genpd_suspend|resume() and update
the rather few callers of them accordingly (a couple of clocksource
drivers).

Moreover, let's take the opportunity to add some documentation of these
exported functions, as that is currently missing.

b7906b70a2 bpf: Fix enum names for bpf_this_cpu_ptr() and bpf_per_cpu_ptr() helpers
Remove bpf_ prefix, which causes these helpers to be reported in verifier

added compound_nr counter to first tail struct page, overlaying with

destroy_compound_gigantic_page(), and compound_nr is set to

6c82d45c7f kasan: fix object remaining in offline per-cpu quarantine
We hit this issue in our internal test.  When enabling generic kasan, a
kfree()'d object is put into per-cpu quarantine first.  If the cpu goes
offline, object still remains in the per-cpu quarantine.  If we call
kmem_cache_destroy() now, slub will report "Objects remaining" error.

6e7b64b9dd elfcore: fix building with clang
kernel/elfcore.c only contains weak symbols, which triggers a bug with
clang in combination with recordmcount:

  kernel/elfcore.o: failed

Move the empty stubs into linux/elfcore.h as inline functions.  As only
two architectures use these, just use the architecture specific Kconfig
symbols to key off the declaration.

55d5b7dd64 initramfs: fix clang build failure
There is only one function in init/initramfs.c that is in the .text
section, and it is marked __weak.  When building with clang-12 and the
integrated assembler, this leads to a bug with recordmcount:

  init/initramfs.o: failed

I'm not quite sure what exactly goes wrong, but I notice that this
function is only ever called from an __init function, and normally
inlined.  Marking it __init as well is clearly correct and it leads to
recordmcount no longer complaining.

40d6366e9d proc: use untagged_addr() for pagemap_read addresses
When we try to visit the pagemap of a tagged userspace pointer, we find
that the start_vaddr is not correct because of the tag.
To fix it, we should untag the userspace pointers in pagemap_read().

I tested with 5.10-rc4 and the issue remains.

Explanation from Catalin in [1]:

 "Arguably, that's a user-space bug since tagged file offsets were never
  supported. In this case it's not even a tag at bit 56 as per the arm64
  tagged address ABI but rather down to bit 47. You could say that the
  problem is caused by the C library (malloc()) or whoever created the
  tagged vaddr and passed it to this function. It's not a kernel
  regression as we've never supported it.

  Now, pagemap is a special case where the offset is usually not
  generated as a classic file offset but rather derived by shifting a
  user virtual address. I guess we can make a concession for pagemap
  (only) and allow such offset with the tag at bit (56 - PAGE_SHIFT + 3)"

67e762efc7 ANDROID: configs: GKI: disable ARMv8.3 PAC
Moving to LLVM_IAS=1 allows for us to now emit instructions making use
of the ARMv8.3 extension Pointer Authentication (PAC), which is enabled
by default by Kconfig if the tooling supports it.

PAC has implications for DWARF based unwinders, see section 4.1.8 of
https://github.com/ARM-software/abi-aa/blob/master/aadwarf64/aadwarf64.rst#dwarf-register-names.

Disable PAC for now until all of our DWARF based unwinders support
unwinding kernels built with PAC, particularly third party utilties that
assist with ramdump parsing.

TCPM state machine needs 20-25ms to enter the ErrorRecovery state after
tPSSourceOn timer timeouts. Change the timer from max 480ms to 450ms to
ensure that the timer complies with the Spec. In order to keep the
flexibility for other usecases using tPSSourceOn, add another timer only
for PR_SWAP.

to a UUT that is in the PE_SRC_Ready state. After sending

the UUT should timeout to PE_SRC_Hard_Reset.

83bf345abc ANDROID: dm: dm-user: New target that proxies BIOs to userspace
dm-user is essentially FUSE for block devices: as BIOs come in through
device mapper they are proxied to a userspace daemon via a control misc
device.

This is very much a work in progress.  There's a handful of FIXMEs
spread throughout the code with more details.  As far as I know there is
nothing broken with the current code, there's just more work to do.

Test: Ran the selftests on the version of this I'm developing for Linus'
      tree, on both 4.19 and 5.8.

21e31401fc NFS: Disable READ_PLUS by default
We've been seeing failures with xfstests generic/091 and generic/263
when using READ_PLUS. I've made some progress on these issues, and the
tests fail later on but still don't pass. Let's disable READ_PLUS by
default until we can work out what is going on.
