Full LTO takes the '-mbranch-protection=none' passed to the compiler
when generating the dynamic shadow call stack patching code as a hint to
stop emitting PAC instructions altogether. (Thin LTO appears unaffected
by this)
Work around this by disabling LTO for the compilation unit, which
appears to convince the linker that it should still use PAC in the rest
of the kernel..

Blocks are tracked by u32, so the max permitted filesize is
(U32_MAX + 1) * BLOCK_SIZE. Additionally, in order to support crypto
data unit sizes of 4K with a 16K block with IV_INO_LBLK_{32,64}, we must
further restrict max filesize to (U32_MAX + 1) * 4096. This does not
affect 4K blocksize f2fs as the natural limit for files are well below
that.

This allows f2fs to support cases where the block size = page size for
both 4K and 16K block sizes. Other sizes should work as well, should the
need arise. This does not currently support 4K Block size filesystems if
the page size is 16K.

core.c:nf_hook_slow assumes that the upper 16 bits of NF_DROP
verdicts contain a valid errno, i.e. -EPERM, -EHOSTUNREACH or similar,
or 0.
Due to the reverted commit, its possible to provide a positive
value, e.g. NF_ACCEPT (1), which results in use-after-free.
Its not clear to me why this commit was made.
NF_QUEUE is not used by nftables; "queue" rules in nftables
will result in use of "nft_queue" expression.
If we later need to allow specifiying errno values from userspace
(do not know why), this has to call NF_DROP_GETERR and check that
"err <= 0" holds true.

The d_canonical_path is added for Android. The another fuse daemon
such as ntfs.3g do not implement it. The fsnotify can not work when
using those fuse daemon.

Some hardware has a way to restore all keyslots at once that is
significantly faster than restoring each keyslot individually, as is
done by blk_ksm_reprogram_all_keys(). Add a hook
"android_rvh_ufs_reprogram_all_keys" that allows overriding the
restoration of all keyslots after UFS reset. This may sleep, so this
must be a "restricted" Android vendor hook rather than a regular one.
Note that currently this functionality can't be upstreamed, as support
for the hardware that needs it would need to be upstreamed first.

Refactor tcpm_fw_get_caps to support the multiple pd capabilities got
from fwnode. For backward compatibility, the original single capability
is still applicable. The fetched data is stored in the newly defined
structure "pd_data" and there is an array "pd_list" to store the
pointers to them. A dedicated array "pds" is used to store the handles
of the registered usb_power_delivery instances.
Also implement the .pd_get and .pd_set ops which are introduced in
commit a7cff92f06 ("usb: typec: USB Power Delivery helpers for ports
and partners"). Once the .pd_set is called, the current capability will
be updated and state machine will re-negotiate the power contract if
possible.

Because rose_ioctl() accesses sk->sk_receive_queue
without holding a sk->sk_receive_queue.lock, it can
cause a race with rose_accept().
A use-after-free for skb occurs with the following flow.

rose_ioctl() -> skb_peek()
rose_accept() -> skb_dequeue() -> kfree_skb()
```
Add sk->sk_receive_queue.lock to rose_ioctl() to fix this issue.

The IDA usually detects double-frees, but that detection failed to
consider the case when there are no nearby IDs allocated and so we have a
NULL bitmap rather than simply having a clear bit. Add some tests to the
test-suite to be sure we don't inadvertently reintroduce this problem.
Unfortunately they're quite noisy so include a message to disregard
the warnings.

The root memcg is onlined even when memcg is disabled. When it's onlined
a 2 second periodic stat flush is started, but no stat flushing is
required when memcg is disabled because there can be no child memcgs.
Most calls to flush memcg stats are avoided when memcg is disabled as a
result of the mem_cgroup_disabled check added in 7d7ef0a4686a ("mm: memcg:
restore subtree stats flushing"), but the periodic flushing started in
mem_cgroup_css_online is not. Skip it.

Current scheduler cannot update misfit status immediately when we set uclamp min for some latency-sensitive tasks, it may cause some latency for these tasks so we may need to update misfit status in vendor kernel.

In current scenario if Plug-out and Plug-In performed continuously
there could be a chance while checking for dwc->gadget_driver in
dwc3_gadget_suspend, a NULL pointer dereference may occur.

CPU1 basically clears the variable and CPU2 checks the variable.
Consider CPU1 is running and right before gadget_driver is cleared
and in parallel CPU2 executes dwc3_gadget_suspend where it finds
dwc->gadget_driver which is not NULL and resumes execution and then
CPU1 completes execution. CPU2 executes dwc3_disconnect_gadget where
it checks dwc->gadget_driver is already NULL because of which the
NULL pointer deference occur.

Currently, the function update_port_device_state gets the usb_hub from
udev->parent by calling usb_hub_to_struct_hub.
However, in case the actconfig or the maxchild is 0, the usb_hub would
be NULL and upon further accessing to get port_dev would result in null
pointer dereference.
Fix this by introducing an if check after the usb_hub is populated.

The ASR8601 SoC combines ARMv8.2 CPUs from ARM with a GIC-500,
also from ARM. However, the two are incompatible as the former
expose an affinity in the form of (cluster, core, thread),
while the latter can only deal with (cluster, core). If nothing
is done, the GIC simply cannot route interrupts to the CPUs.
Implement a workaround that shifts the affinity down by a level,
ensuring the delivery of interrupts despite the implementation
mismatch.

The GICv3 driver uses multiple formats for the affinity, all
derived from a reading of MPDR_EL1 on one CPU or another.
Simplify the handling of these affinity by moving the access
to the CPU affinity via cpu_logical_map() inside the helper,
and rename it accordingly.
This will be helpful to support some more broken hardware.

The original set [1][2] was expected to undo a suboptimal fix in [2], and
replace it with a better fix [1]. However, as reported by Dan Moulding [2]
causes an issue with raid5 with journal device.
Revert [2] for now to close the issue. We will follow up on another issue
reported by Juxiao Bi, as [2] is expected to fix it. We believe this is a
good trade-off, because the latter issue happens less freqently.
In the meanwhile, we will NOT revert [1], as it contains the right logic.

The rtc on the mox shares its interrupt line with the moxtet bus. Set
the interrupt type to be consistent between both devices. This ensures
correct setup of the interrupt line regardless of probing order.

In the last twenty years, compound pages have become used for more than
just hugetlb. Rewrite these functions to operate on folios instead
of pages and remove the special case for hugetlbfs; I don't think
it's needed any more (and if it is, we can put it back in as a call
to folio_test_hugetlb()).
This was found by inspection; as far as I can tell, this bug can lead
to pages used as the destination of a direct I/O read not being marked
as dirty. If those pages are then reclaimed by the MM without being
dirtied for some other reason, they won't be written out. Then when
they're faulted back in, they will not contain the data they should.
It'll take a pretty unusual setup to produce this problem with several
races all going the wrong way.
This problem predates the folio work; it could for example have been
triggered by mmaping a THP in tmpfs and using that as the target of an
O_DIRECT read.

To properly handle ACK on the bus when transferring more than one
message in polling mode, move the polling handling loop from
s3c24xx_i2c_message_start() to s3c24xx_i2c_doxfer(). This way
i2c_s3c_irq_nextbyte() is always executed till the end, properly
acknowledging the IRQ bits and no recursive calls to
i2c_s3c_irq_nextbyte() are made.
While touching this, also fix finishing transfers in polling mode by
using common code path and always waiting for the bus to become idle
and disabled.

To properly handle read transfers in polling mode, no waiting for the ACK
state is needed as it will never come. Just wait a bit to ensure start
state is on the bus and continue processing next bytes.

idev->mc_ifc_count can be written over without proper locking.
Originally found by syzbot [1], fix this issue by encapsulating calls
to mld_ifc_stop_work() (and mld_gq_stop_work() for good measure) with
mutex_lock() and mutex_unlock() accordingly as these functions
should only be called with mc_lock per their declarations.

'qos_pfc' test checks PFC behavior. The idea is to limit the traffic
using a shaper somewhere in the flow of the packets. In this area, the
buffer is smaller than the buffer at the beginning of the flow, so it fills
up until there is no more space left. The test configures there PFC
which is supposed to notice that the headroom is filling up and send PFC
Xoff to indicate the transmitter to stop sending traffic for the priorities
sharing this PG.
The Xon/Xoff threshold is auto-configured and always equal to
2*(MTU rounded up to cell size). Even after sending the PFC Xoff packet,
traffic will keep arriving until the transmitter receives and processes
the PFC packet. This amount of traffic is known as the PFC delay allowance.
Currently the buffer for the delay traffic is configured as 100KB. The
MTU in the test is 10KB, therefore the threshold for Xoff is about 20KB.
This allows 80KB extra to be stored in this buffer.
8-lane ports use two buffers among which the configured buffer is split,
the Xoff threshold then applies to each buffer in parallel.
The test does not take into account the behavior of 8-lane ports, when the
ports are configured to 400Gbps with 8 lanes or 800Gbps with 8 lanes,
packets are dropped and the test fails.
Check if the relevant ports use 8 lanes, in such case double the size of
the buffer, as the headroom is split half-half.

Lately, a bug was found when many TC filters are added - at some point,
several bugs are printed to dmesg [1] and the switch is crashed with
segmentation fault.
The issue starts when gen_pool_free() fails because of unexpected
behavior - a try to free memory which is already freed, this leads to BUG()
call which crashes the switch and makes many other bugs.
Trying to track down the unexpected behavior led to a bug in eRP code. The
function mlxsw_sp_acl_erp_table_alloc() gets a pointer to the allocated
index, sets the value and returns an error code. When gen_pool_alloc()
fails it returns address 0, we track it and return -ENOBUFS outside, BUT
the call for gen_pool_alloc() already override the index in erp_table
structure. This is a problem when such allocation is done as part of
table expansion. This is not a new table, which will not be used in case
of allocation failure. We try to expand eRP table and override the
current index (non-zero) with zero. Then, it leads to an unexpected
behavior when address 0 is freed twice. Note that address 0 is valid in
erp_table->base_index and indeed other tables use it.
gen_pool_alloc() fails in case that there is no space left in the
pre-allocated pool, in our case, the pool is limited to
ACL_MAX_ERPT_BANK_SIZE, which is read from hardware. When more than max
erp entries are required, we exceed the limit and return an error, this
error leads to "Failed to migrate vregion" print.
Fix this by changing erp_table->base_index only in case of a successful
allocation.
Add a test case for such a scenario. Without this fix it causes
segmentation fault:

__loop_update_dio only checks the alignment requirement for block backed
file systems, but misses them for the case where the loop device is
created directly on top of another block device. Due to this creating
a loop device with default option plus the direct I/O flag on a > 512 byte
sector size file system will lead to incorrect I/O being submitted to the
lower block device and a lot of error from the lock layer. This can
be seen with xfstests generic/563.
Fix the code in __loop_update_dio by factoring the alignment check into
a helper, and calling that also for the struct block_device of a block
device inode.
Also remove the TODO comment talking about dynamically switching between
buffered and direct I/O, which is a would be a recipe for horrible
performance and occasional data loss.
