commit e5925fb867290ee924fcf2fe3ca887b792714366 upstream MDS, TAA and Processor MMIO Stale Data mitigations rely on clearing CPU buffers. Moreover, status of these mitigations affects each other. During boot, it is important to maintain the order in which these mitigations are selected. This is especially true for md_clear_update_mitigation() that needs to be called after MDS, TAA and Processor MMIO Stale Data mitigation selection is done. Introduce md_clear_select_mitigation(), and select all these mitigations from there. This reflects relationships between these mitigations and ensures proper ordering. There are several guides for kernel developers and users. These guides can
be rendered in a number of formats, like HTML and PDF. Please read
Documentation/admin-guide/README.rst first.
In order to build the documentation, use ``make htmldocs`` or
``make pdfdocs``. The formatted documentation can also be read online at:
https://www.kernel.org/doc/html/latest/
There are various text files in the Documentation/ subdirectory,
several of them using the Restructured Text markup notation.
Please read the Documentation/process/changes.rst file, as it contains the
requirements for building and running the kernel, and information about
the problems which may result by upgrading your kernel.
